Here's a story about a young man from Nigeria who aims to make a break in the infant Renewable energy sector in the country and his vision is to own one of the largest energy firm in Africa.

Currently, briquettes are a start for this young man who aims to develop it into a well established business in the country modelling after the success stories of start-up's in Uganda and Kenya.

According to him he says briquettes can become a big business in Nigeria and he believes that one stands a better chance of making a killing here than anywhere else in continent.

One obstacle  he observed was customers unwilling to change from using lump charcoals to briquette even thou he Orient's them when ever making a sales, he says some of them find it difficult to commit to using briquettes only.

The high cost of production sometimes possess a problem due to the cost of briquette than lump charcoal but even he says that with proper technology in place and with the country's untapped raw materials, briquette making can indeed be profitable.

Investment in briquette production at the moment is challenging but he isn't giving up hope yet any time soon. According to him it's a worthy commitment to make his dream a reality. if you're interested in what he does, feel free to contact HIM.
