EPL Champions Leicester Make £15.5m Bid For Eagles Star Ndidi
English Premier League (EPL) champions Leicester City have reportedly made a £15.5m bid for Super Eagles star Wilfried Ndidi, who presently plays for Belgian side Genk.
Ndidi has churned out impressive performances for the Belgian club since joining them thereby attracting the interest of several European clubs with reports in Belgium stating that Leicester City have made a bid as they see him as a replacement for their former midfielder N'Golo Kante.
The interest was further confirmed by a source close to the player as follows: "He (Ndidi) is doing well in Belgium, and there is an interest from an English club that I can tell you, but I cannot confirm the name of the club to you at the moment."
Ndidi started out as a central defender before he was converted to a midfielder at his current club and he has so far excelled there. He would be joining another Super Eagles star in Ahmed Musa if the rumoured move to Leicester City finally materialise.
