Five Super Falcon players namely Asisat Oshoala, Osinachi Ohale, Desire Oparanozie, goalkeeper Alaba Jonathan and Francesca Ordega have been named on the lost of the All-Star team for the 2016 edition of African Women Cup of Nations (AWCON).
Tournament's topscorer with six goals, Oshoala, France-based Oparanozie and defender Ohale were named in the first XI while Alaba Jonathan and Francesca Ordega made the substitutes' bench.
Hosts and beaten finalists Cameroon also provided five players including tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP), Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene.
The Super Falcons clinched a record eighth title with a 1-0 win over the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon courtesy Desire Oparanozie's 84th minute strike.
