The reception organised for the victorious Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) champions Enugu Rangers by the Enugu State Government has been postponed according to officials.
State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi was initially scheduled to meet the the players and officials of the team on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 but that has now been postponed to a later date.
Confirming the new development, a top official said: "The Governor will not receive the players and officials of Rangers today as earlier planned. The reception will now be at a later date."
Due to the postponement, the players have been granted a break until November 1, when they are expected to resume back to camp ahead of the new season.
