Flamingoes stars Rasheedat Ajibade, who has featured in two FIFA U-17 Women World Cup tournaments, and Catherine Kenneth have received call ups to the camp of the national female U-20 team, Falconets, ahead of next month's FIFA Women's U-20 World Cup in Papua New Guinea.
FC Robo striker and Flamingoes skipper Ajibade and central defender Kenneth of Rivers Angel have since joined up with the rest of the other invited Falconets players at the Serob Legacy Hotel Camp in Abuja.
On the decision to invite both players, falconets head coach Peter Dedevbo disclosed that he was impressed with their output with the Flamingoes at the ongoing FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Jordan.
In his words, he said: "I watched Rasheedat and Catherine during their tournament and I liked the way they played."
"I think they did well despite the Flamingoes' early exit at the World Cup. I intend to take a closer look at them during training sessions because I believe that they can fit into my plans for the World Cup." he further added.
