The representative of former Golden Eaglets star Victor Osimhen, Ariyo Igbayilola, has dismissed rumours that the player suffered a serious injury with his German clubside VFL Wolfsburg adding that he is not injured but the player is being rested after playing a series of friendlies for the team with which he will sign a professional contract in January 2017.
On his client, Ariyo said: "No, there is nothing wrong with Victor whatsoever. He is fine and ready to go."
"He has played as many as four friendly matches for Wolfsburg and they in their wisdom have thought it wise to rest the boy.
"He will soon be back in Nigeria to work on his papers." he concluded.
Osimhen, who was the record top scorer at the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile will clock 18 next month and is expected to sign a professional contract with Wolfsburg in January 2017, was linked several top European clubs including Arsenal and Anderlecht before he made his choice.
