Former Super Eagles captain Kanu Nwankwo has lost his mother, Mrs Sussan Nwannediya Kanu Iheme after she passed away.
The news of her death was announced by her son, who tweeted her picture via his Twitter handle @papilokanu with the following message: "R.I.P MAMA GOD saw Mum getting tired as she is getting old so He put His arm around her,whispered to her come to me."
Kanu Nwankwo is widely regarded as one of the best players the Super Eagles has ever featured and his mom, Mrs Kanu also known as Udonachi Oha, died at the ripe age of 82
