Arsenal Loanee Wilshere, Tottenham Striker Kane Makes England Squad Return
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, who is presently on a season-long loan at fellow English Premier League (EPL) side Bournemouth, has been recalled to the England squad ahead of the upcoming matches against Scotland (2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier) and Spain (International friendly) after missing the last two squads.
He is joined on the list by Tottenham striker Harry Kane, who has been out for the better part of two months with an ankle injury that saw him miss the matches against Malta and Slovenia.
On Wilshere's return to the team, interim England manager Gareth Southgate said: "Over the last few weeks we've been looking at as many games as possible and keeping track of all of the players."
"Wilshere is a player that we feel has a lot of class and is now starting to get more 90 minutes under his belt. It's good to bring him back into the squad." he further added.
