CSKA Moscow Midfielder Eremenko Gets Two-Year Ban For Using Cocaine



CSKA Moscow midfielder Roman Eremenko has been banned from football after he tested positive for cocaine.

Eremenko, 29, tested positive to the banned substance after his Russian club's 2-2 draw with Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) on the 14th of September, 2016.‎

His ban was revealed via a UEFA statement which read as follows: "The analysis of the A sample revealed the presence of cocaine and its metabolites."‎

The Finland international's ban runs until the 6th of October, 2018.
