Eagles Players Set To Receive Zambia Win Bonus This Week‎

Super Eagles Players will receive‎ the $5,000-per-head winning bonus from last month's 2-1 away win over Zambia this week according to an official of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) with the team currently preparing for the crucial clash with the Desert Foxes of Algeria in Uyo on Saturday.

The NFF had previously stated that the players would be paid before the Algeria clash and that has now been confirmed by the official, who said: "The Eagles bonus for the win in Zambia is ready and they will ‎be paid before Saturday's match against Algeria."

In a similar vein, the controversy surrounding the salary of Eagles' ‎Franco-German coach Gernot Rohr may be over as he is expected to be paid two months salary this week at the rate of $47,000 monthly. R‎ohr had previously deflected questions about his salary during a press conference in Abuja last month before the Zambia match as he added that it is not her way to discuss finances in public.
