Nasarawa United players have been rewarded with lands and cash gifts for their heroics despite losing the Federation Cup final to FC IfeanyiUbah at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos on Sunday.
They were rewarded with a plot of land each by the Nasarawa State Governor Tanko Al-Makura, who made the announcement while hosting the players at the State House in Lafia. Each player also got a cash reward of N200,000 while the team's technical adviser, Kabir Dogo, got N400,000.
After a goalless affair at fulltime, FC IfeanyiUbah defeated Nasarawa United 5-4 on penalties in their first ever Federation Cup final.
