Real Madrid Superstar Bale Named Welsh Player Of The Year




Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has been named the Welsh player of the year for the sixth time and for the fourth successive year following his triumph in the 2013, 2014 and 2015 editions.

Bale was influential as Wales qualified for Euro 2016, their first major tournament since 1958 before a semi-final finish at the tournament in the summer.

Other award recipients include Stoke City midfielder Joe Allen, who won two awards namely the players' and fans' player of the year, Exeter City's Ethan Ampadu, 16, named young player of the year, women player of the year Natasha Harding and Sophie Ingle, who won the women's player and fans' player ‎of the year award.
