Vice President Osinbajo Visits Eagles Training, Tasks Them To Beat Algeria



Nigeria's Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, on Tuesday visited the Super Eagles during their evening training session in Abuja as he tasked them to get the three maximum points at stake when they face Algeria on Saturday.

Professor Osinbajo visited Gernot Rohr's team in the company of the country's Sports Minister as well‎ as top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

In his words, Professor Osinbajo said: "The President is very much aware of the finances of the NFF and that was why the government intervened for the away game in Zambia."

"You should be patriotic and go out there to beat Algeria on Saturday.

"We will support you to qualify for the 2018 World Cup."‎ he further added.

The country's no. 2 man also visited the national women's football team, Super Falcons, ahead of the defence of their title at the 2016 African Women's Cup Of Nations (AWCON) in Cameroon.
