Guardiola Denies Banning His Players From Having Sex



Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has denied instructing his players to stay away from Sex after midnight.

French midfielder Samir Nasri, who is on loan at La Liga side Sevilla, earlier claimed the former Bayern Munich and Barcelona man imposed the rule so that players can get "a good night's sleep."

The 45-year old tactician however denied Nasri's claims and also encouraged his players to have more sex.‎

In his words, Guardiola said: "It is impossible to play good football if you don't make sex with your p‎artner."

"I never did that (ban it) and I would never ban that. If you are doing it... better players." he further added.

Nasri made the comments during a French TV programme L'Equipe du Soir as he added that Guardiola "wants his players to be slim and fit" and also claimed Guardiola told Barcelona forward Lionel Messi he would avoid muscle injuries by not having sex after midnight.
