Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed a new 5-year deal with the 11-time European champions until 2021.

Ronaldo, who helped Portugal to an unlikely triumph at Euro 2016, joined Real Madrid from Manchester United in 2009 for a then record fee of £80m and has since scored a club record 371 goals ‎in addition to winning the UEFA Champions League twice (2014 and 2016) as well as the La Liga title (2012).

His current deal expires in ‎2018 and he has now extended his contract by five years with reports claiming he will still remain on his former weekly wage of around £365,000.
