Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed a new 5-year deal with the 11-time European champions until 2021.
Ronaldo, who helped Portugal to an unlikely triumph at Euro 2016, joined Real Madrid from Manchester United in 2009 for a then record fee of £80m and has since scored a club record 371 goals in addition to winning the UEFA Champions League twice (2014 and 2016) as well as the La Liga title (2012).
His current deal expires in 2018 and he has now extended his contract by five years with reports claiming he will still remain on his former weekly wage of around £365,000.
