Meet The Nigerian Lady That Just Won An Award (Photo)



Nigerian lady Oluwatosin Folarin has won  the VSO National Youth Volunteer Award 2016. VSO- Voluntary Service Overseas, which was established in 1958, is an International Development Charity with a vision for a world without poverty and a mission to bring people together to fight poverty.

VSO has worked in a lot of countries in the continent of Africa, Asia and in the Pacific. Oluwatosin Folarin  worked on several development project in rural communities in order to secure livelihood. Her favourite quote is '' The purpose of our Live is to make impact".

Ivorian Legend Drogba To Leave Montreal Impact At The End Of The Season



Ivory Coast legend Didier Drogba has confirmed that he would leave his Montreal Impact club in the Major League Soccer (MLS) at the end of the season.

The 38-year old made this known following his Canadian side's 3-2 win over Toronto FC in the first leg of the Eastern Conference finals in a game, which saw the former Chelsea and Marseille striker enter the fray as a 71st minute substitute in front of a sell-out crowd of 61,000.

On his future after Tuesday's win, Drogba said: "There's still one or maybe two games to go. Next week's game is more important than if it's finished or not.

"Everyone knows it was my last game here. Now let's focus on the semi-final."‎ he further added.

Checkout The World's Shortest Couple Officially Crowned By Guinness World Records



Paulo Gabriel da Silva Barros and Katyucia Hoshino have been officially crowned as the world's shortest couple by the Guinness World Records (GWR) after they were unveiled in London on Friday. 

The couple, who both hails from Brazil and have been verified at a combined height of 181.41 cm (71.42 in), became the world record holder of shortest married couple in September after tying the knot.‎


The couple were measured by the Guinness World Records officials in central London, Friday as they had their record verified and confirmed at the GWR St Thomas's Hospital in central London.

Paulo, 30, who is just 34.8in tall, has diastrophic dysplasia dwarfism while 26-year-old Katyucia, 35.2in in height, has achondroplasia dwarfism. 

They had earlier tied the knot in front of family and friends in their hometown of Itupeva, Brazil, and were presented to the media for the first time on Friday.

Former Minister Rasheed Gbadamosi Is Dead!



Former Minister of National Planning, Chief Rasheed A. Gbadamosi, OFR, has passed away at the age of 72.

Chief Gbadamosi died at his Ikorodu home on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, and will be buried according to Muslim rites on Thursday, November 17, 2016. Until his death, Chief Rasheed Gbadamosi was the co-chairman of Lagos @50 Organising Committee.

He had previously served as Managing Director of R.A.G. & Company Limited, Chairman of Ragolis Waters Limited, Thai Farm International Limited, Sparnoon Nigerian Limited, BHN Plc, Syndicated Metal Industries Limited, Lucky Fibres Nigeria Plc; and Aiico Pension Managers Limited. He also served as the Chairman of Vono Products Plc and has been Chairman at Secure Electronic Technology Plc since August 16, 2012 before his death. He is survived by a wife and children. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
