Croatian international forward Ivan Perisic scored a crucial equaliser for under performing Inter Milan as they forced hosts and rivals AC Milan to a 2-2 draw in the Milan Derby in what was new manager Stefano Pioli's first game in charge.
Former Liverpool winger Suso was the star of the show as he netted a brace for Vicenzo Montella's side. He curled home the game's opener three minutes before the interval and also edged AC Milan ahead 2-1 five minutes after Inter Milan winger Antonio candreva's 53rd minute equaliser. Perisic, who had squandered a host of opportunities, turned home a corner from close range as both teams share a four-goal thriller.
The draw leapfrogs AC Milan by two places from 5th to 3rd with 26 points from 13 games while Inter Milan also move two places into the first half of the table from 11th to 9th with 18 points from 13 games played with that late equaliser.
